On March 31, the Rosneft pavilion at the Russia exhibition will host the presentation of the Sretensky Monastery Choir’s new musical program “Songs of Our Parents”. The show will be held as part of the thematic Culture Days. This was reported by the press service of Rosneft.
Rosneft is organizing Days of Culture at its pavilion at VDNKh from March 26 to 31. Visitors are presented with cultural projects supported by Rosneft.
These days, guests of the exhibition are told about the revival of the Konevsky Virgin Mary Monastery – in 2021, Rosneft completed work on the reconstruction and restoration of the monastery.
A virtual tour of the State Hermitage is also organized for guests of the pavilion. Last year, the museum, with the support of Rosneft, organized the 17th-19th. opened three halls of the updated exhibition “Chinese Culture and Art” dedicated to the Qing period of the 19th century.
In addition, painting master classes based on paintings by such great artists and illustrators as Nicholas Roerich, Vasily Vatagin and Dmitry Mitrokhin are held for everyone.
In addition, Rosneft presents a video version of Tatyana Navka’s ice show “Evenings on the Farm” and distributes tickets to the movie “The Flying Ship” as part of thematic quizzes.
The company has been supporting the Sretensky Monastery Choir since 2015. During this time, the musical group successfully conducted many concert tours – “Rosneft. Dedicated to the Great Glory”, “Unholy Saints”, “The Romanovs”, “Russia: Time, Forward!”, “Masterpieces of World Culture” and others.
The choir’s tour with the musical program “Songs of Our Parents” will begin with a performance in Ryazan and end in Norilsk. In total, the tour program covers 16 cities in the regions where the company operates.
