Actor Stas Sadalsky said in a speech: aif.ruThat Maxim Galkin (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) collected large halls abroad due to the lack of competition among Russian-speaking artists.
According to Sadalsky, people go to Galkin’s shows not because they love him, but because of their love for the Russian language and their longing for Russian culture. The actor believes that the audience at the comedian’s concert therefore wanted to hear Russian speech.
Sadalsky added that he considered Galkin an intelligent and educated man, but not talented.
“Everyone misses the Russian language, this is natural. This is not people’s love for Galkin, it is just love for the Russian language, longing for Russian culture, everyone wants to hear Russian speech. Moreover, this is a reason to get together, show off at the buffet, because these places of communication – Russians are so divided in the world – are few. And here is the moment of unification,” said the actor.
In September 2022, Maxim Galkin was included in the list of persons performing the functions of a foreign agent. The reason for this was “engaging in political activities”. In October of the same year, the comedian and his wife Alla Pugacheva flew from Russia to Israel with their children.
Previously Sadalsky defended Pugacheva on demands to recognize her as a foreign agent.
