Makeup artist and blogger Gohar Avetisyan made an honest video without filters on Instagram (the owner of the Meta company is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia) where she shows all the shortcomings of her body.
In the video, the girl complains that she has acne, too much gray hair, stretch marks, “fat legs” and bald spots on certain areas of her head. Avetisyan admitted that she was very afraid to publish such a video, because any girl is afraid to openly show her flaws to the world. The blogger called on other women not to be ashamed of their bodies and not to be influenced by the critics around them.
“I wholeheartedly feel the global importance of talking about this. It’s about the fact that there are no ideal people and each person has their own characteristics that we skillfully hide under make-up, false hair or clothes. In fact, the Internet has a very detrimental effect on people’s self-esteem,” said Avetisyan.
The artist admitted that every day he learns to cope with the complexes and imperfections of his body. Avetisyan urged to love yourself and not be guided by beautiful pictures on the Internet.
