Kelly McCormick, the producer of the movie “Nobody” in which she starred with Bob Odenkirk (“Better Call Saul”), said that work on the sequel to the movie is currently in pre-production. His words are quoted collider.
He emphasized that Universal Studios is interested in producing the second part of the action movie, and the star cast is excited to return to the project. McCormick said Derek Kolstad (John Wick) is currently writing the script for Nobody 2. According to him, the shooting of the film could start at the end of 2024, but he noted that his assumptions may not come true due to the intensity of the actors.
The producer also did not specify whether Russian director Ilya Naishuller, who directed the first episode, would return to the project.
Naishuller’s original film Nobody was released in March 2021. The film, which had a budget of $17 million, managed to gross almost $60 million. The action hero is an ordinary middle-aged man who decides to take revenge on his enemies after an armed robbery. Actor Alexey Serebryakov also starred in the film.
