The performance of the play Modanse, held in South Korea with the participation of Bolshoi Theater prima ballerina Svetlana Zakharova, was cancelled. This was reported by TASS Referring to the event organisers.
The play was scheduled to be shown in Seoul from April 17 to 21. The cancellation of the production at the Seoul Arts Center was explained by concerns for the safety of audiences and performers.
Representatives of the site, commenting on the cancellation, promised to return the money for the purchased tickets, saying: “We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to this event and asked for understanding.”
Tour organizer InArts Production also explained the cancellation due to concern for the safety of the audience, reminding that they started “planning this event even before the pandemic.”
