Singer Monetochka (known as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) (Elizaveta Gyrdymova) admitted in an interview with the YouTube channel “Tender Editor” that she associates her hometown Yekaterinburg with mayonnaise.
Monetochka called Yekaterinburg the capital of mayonnaise. He believes that this product is the most delicious product of the city where it is located. Even after emigrating, he keeps mayonnaise from his hometown in his refrigerator.
Gyrdymova said that after emigrating, she did not miss Yekaterinburg “in a bad way”, but yes, in a “good way”. The artist believes that Vilnius, where he currently lives, resembles his hometown in some places.
“There are many wonderful people there (in Yekaterinburg): my teachers, classmates and neighbors. “I truly believe that this is a unique city with unique people,” the singer shared.
Monetochka admitted that after moving from Russia, she missed “the feeling of everyone living in one place.”
Gyrdymova and her husband, producer Viktor Isaev, moved to Lithuania after the start of a special operation in Ukraine. On August 17, 2022, the couple had a daughter named Nina. In January 2024, Monetochka became a mother for the second time. She gave birth to a son.
