Singer Yura Shatunov (1973-2022) may not have lived to see the creation of the “Tender May” group, whose participation made him a superstar. In our conversation with aif.ru on this subject said The director of the documentary film “Yuri Shatunov. Unknown idol” Alexander Igudin.
Igudin was friends with Shatunov for 35 years and admits: The film details several cases when a friend’s life hung by a thread and only a miracle saved him.
“According to all the facts of that time and the circumstances of his birth, Yura Shatunov not only should not have become a star, but in principle should not have lived to the age of graduating from school,” he says.
He also noted an incredible coincidence: Shatunov was born in an ambulance and ended his earthly journey there. However, Igudin emphasized that the artist’s songs remain.
“And there was an unforgettable feeling that Yura was here, among us. The director has no doubts when he says, “This period will one day be called the Jurassic period.”
