Singer and mentor of the program “New Star Factory” Sergei Shnurov violated the rules of the show by choosing two contestants at the selection stage.
After the participants’ performances, mentors Shnurov and Sergei Zhukov were asked to select participants for their teams. In this case, according to the rules of the show, one of the contestants had to go home. However, when Shnurov could not decide between Leonty Kandelaki and Nikita Ufimtsev, he took both artists into his team with Zhukov’s permission.
The first five participants of the project included Tina Kandelaki’s son – TV presenter, songwriter and performer Leo Kandelaki, Yandex Music Iskra project participant Daria Kochneva, chansonnier Mikhail Krug’s son Alexander, jazz singer Maria Gordeeva and Altai nugget Nikita Ufimtsev.
After the concert, participants of the “New Star Factory” will go to the star house where they will live, create and study in the coming months. The daily reality show about the events in the house will be broadcast on TNT at 9:00. The first news concert of “New Star Factory” will be broadcast on TNT on March 3.
