Egor Creed became the first person to win the case against RKN and the Federal Tax Service in Russia

Rapper Yegor Creed managed to win in court against the Russian Federal Tax Service and Roskomnadzor (RKN). This was reported on the portal of the courts of general jurisdiction of the city of Moscow.

The hearing in Creed’s case took place on February 27. The court ruled that the closure of the musician’s Twich channel was illegal.

Safer Internet League president Ekaterina Mizulina contacted the FAS and Roskomnadzor in February 2023 regarding the illegal distribution of ads for online casinos and bookmakers by 15 bloggers, including the singer. In May 2023, Creed filed a lawsuit against Mizulina for the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation, which is currently being considered on its merits. It was decided to conduct an investigation in this case, where the hearings were postponed.

In the lawsuit, Creed stated that he thought one of Mizulina’s statements about him was offensive and untrue. Also Moscow Zamoskvoretsky Court I didn’t take into consideration Creed’s claim against Mizulina for 1 million rubles.
