Actor Ivan Okhlobystin admitted that there is no point in shooting a sequel to “Interns”, since there are already many episodes in the Russian series. The artist’s words are quoted TASS.

“There are 352 episodes. If we remake it, it will only be available to watch in the next millennium,” Okhlobystin said sarcastically.

The star stated that he does not like remakes in general and that most projects are better off remaining original.

The series “Interns” was broadcast from 2010 to 2016. Okhlobystin played the role of Andrei Bykov, head of the therapeutic department and head of the internship. The show also stars Christina Asmus, Alexander Ilyin Jr., Vadim Demchog, Svetlana Kamynina and others.
