The Harry Potter series will be released on the Max streaming service in 2026. This was reported by IGN.
CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery David Zaslav, in a meeting with investors, assured that the project will be released on time if the team does not encounter any problems with production. Zaslav also stated that he would “stay true to the series” of the series, whose last episode aired more than a decade ago.
“We are not shy about the Harry Potter excitement. <…> We spent some time with JK Rowling and her team. “Both parties are excited about the revival of this franchise,” the CEO shared.
In April, HBO released the first trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter series. The teaser announced the launch of a new series that will fully reflect JK Rowling’s series of books about the world-famous magician.
Daniel Radcliffe, the lead actor in the Harry Potter film series, has no desire to star in a television series.
“From what I understand, the story will be told from the beginning. I’m sure the creators won’t want to figure out how to get old Harry to make a cameo. I have absolutely no such intention. I wish you good luck in the relay race, but I must disagree.” registered Radcliffe.
