On the eve of the Lyube concerts on February 22 and 23 at the Crocus Town Hall in Moscow, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the group, the leader of the group, Nikolai Rastorguev, told how he chooses songs for performances. Quoted RIA News.
According to Rastorguev, together with composer Igor Matvienko, they chose what the audience really liked and wanted to hear
“It is very dangerous to release new, untried compositions, because they may not work, and then you leave under the sound of your own hooves,” the artist joked.
He noted that he has not celebrated his birthday on February 21st for many years because there are always solo concerts the next day.
“We are people used to touring; In the 1980s, it was absolutely normal for us to play two or three concerts a day, even in vocal and instrumental ensembles. And somehow there were 11 shows a day! “We do what we love, and it gives us pleasure,” he added, considering not shows, but hectic and sleepless nights as the main stress.
Previously Nikolay Rastorguev saidHe started rehearsing a song by ST for the anniversary concert.
Previously rapper ST launched a new song “Give him strength” and also performed it in front of Russian Guard soldiers in the Northern Military District area.
