Their value on the black market exceeds 100 thousand euros (about 9.9 million rubles).

Additionally, two Russian books were stolen from the Bavarian State Library. In Saxony, people complained about the theft of Russian books.

Bild writer Diana Kassal writes that the attackers used fake passports, pretending to be scholars of 19th-century Russian literature. They scan every page of a rare book, make a copy, replace it with the original and keep it for themselves.
