The three-day rock festival “Chernozem” will not take place in Voronezh in 2024. The publication reports that “Vesti Voronezh”.
While the reason is not disclosed, it is not known whether the festival is temporarily closed or will not be held at all. The publication suggests that the reason for this decision of the organizers was the lack of rock musicians and security.
“Vesti Voronezh” recalled that in 2022 there was a scandal in “Chernozem” – after which the group “Splin” dedicated one of the songs to artists who emigrated from Russia. Then the group’s performances began to be cancelled.
In 2023, the Chernozem festival was held in Voronezh next to the Grad city park. 50 groups and artists took part in the event, including “Crematorium”, “Picnic”, “Melnitsa”, “Kipelov”, Garik Sukachev, Gleb Samoilov, Nike Borzov, Neuromonk Feofan, “Birtman” and others. The symbol of the festival was Novovoronezh “Alenka”, created in 2020 to mark the 250th anniversary of the village of Novaya Alenovka in Novovoronezh.
“Chernozem” has been held in Voronezh since 2021. Before this, the event had been held in Tambov since 2015.
