Anya Taylor-Joy accused of appropriating Muslim culture due to her image 19:48

Actress Anya Taylor-Joy has been accused of appropriating Muslim culture following the star’s appearance at the premiere of the second episode of Dune. This was reported by daily mail.

The Queen’s Walk star wore a tight white dress to the social event and threw on a headscarf reminiscent of a Muslim headscarf. This look was created by Dior specifically for the actress, based on the fashion house’s wedding look from the spring 1961 season.

“A girl with a white headscarf is fashionable, a Muslim or dark-skinned girl is oppression”; “White women portray Muslim women but never speak for them”; “When Anya Taylor-Joy wears a burka it’s normal, but when Muslims do it…” followers of social network X wrote.

However, some praised the American actress’s image and noted that she looked great. One user compared the white-looking Taylor-Joy to an angel.

Before reportedActress Zendaya arrived at the premiere in a top that exposed her breasts. She appeared in public in a brown suit: a crop top that exposed her breasts, a skirt with a leather belt and a mid-thigh slit. The look was completed with matching high heels. She also had her hair and make-up done with oriental winged eyeliner.

Previously reportedZendaya and Tom Holland were photographed on an after-dinner date in London.
