Director Yuri Bykov will direct the third season of the detective series “Method”; It is planned to premiere 10 years after the first season aired. The press service of the project told socialbites.ca about this.
“Our current concept offers a completely new perspective, filling the story with new characters and creating an almost documentary-like look. “We now have the opportunity to turn “The Method” into a very bright, eventful, realistic drama about our time,” said Bykov.
He stated that he had long been convinced that it was not worth continuing “Method” because the first season was a dead end. According to the producer, all this time he was periodically offered various concepts for the continuation of the series, but Bykov saw this not as a rethinking of the characters, but as their exploitation. The director has now found a way to bring a realistic perspective to modern maniacs and their rhythm of life in the sequel of “Method”. The third season will be released in Russia in 2025.
