Marvel Studios announced the cast and release date of the superhero movie “Fantastic Four” by publishing a card featuring the characters for Valentine’s Day on social media X.
As expected, the role of superhero team leader Reed Richards went to three-time Emmy Award nominee Pedro Pascal, known for his role in The Last of Us. Crown star Vanessa Kirby will play Sue Storm (Invisible Woman) in the upcoming film. Stranger Things’ famous Joe Quinn will portray Johnny Storm (Human Torch), while The Punisher Emmy winner Ebon Moss-Bachrach will portray Ben Grimm (The Thing).
Fantastic Four is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2025, with shooting scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2024. The film will be directed by Matt Shakman (“The Edge,” “House”).
