According to the plot of the play, a man and a woman who are very different from each other suddenly find themselves all alone in the world.

Dmitry Nazarov and his wife Olga Vasilyeva were fired from the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater in January 2023. According to media reports, the reason for this was the actor’s anti-Russian statements and criticism of the special operation in Ukraine.
In March of the same year, Nazarov commented Konstantin Khabensky’s decision to expel him from the theater. According to the artist, this decision was difficult for the artistic director. The actor said that initially the management planned to ban him from participating in shows for a while.
