Actress Olga Lomonosova admitted in her YouTube show “Open Up, David” that she regrets her role in the sitcom “Don’t Be Born Beautiful.”
“The series Doğma Güzel made me popular and was watched by countless people. It would have been better if I had never acted. The series is pop. I know that. It’s a soap opera, but the serious thing is that you starred in a movie with a cool director and the next morning you became famous,” Lomonosova said.
The actor admitted that it was difficult for him to attend film auditions because the directors saw him as the hero of a popular sitcom. Nevertheless, Lomonosova boasted that she had played a significant number of important theatrical roles. However, the star complained that he was still not perceived as a serious dramatic actor, so he was unlikely to be invited to play “in some large theaters, for example, the Moscow Art Theater.”
