In a conversation with singer Mitya Fomin he said: Hello! The feeling of participating in the show “Survive Samarkand” can be compared to being in a centrifuge.
According to Fomin, it was as if he was “washed and bored” during the project. He noted that in such “pristine form” participants had to relearn and update their reflexes. The artist added that in the exhibition you need to quickly position yourself “to be useful, relevant and not to look stupid.”
“There are also many important social qualities that are sometimes lost when living among humans. Therefore, I gladly accept such offers. But next time I’ll probably think a hundred times. As a result, the shows are becoming more and more complex and cunning,” shared the artist.
In the show “Survive in Samarkand”, artists, members of the media and opinion leaders competed in an elimination struggle with ordinary people from Russian cities for a prize of 10 million rubles.
While the winners of many competitions spent the night in a luxury hotel, the losers went to a mountain camp and experienced difficulties due to lack of food, water and living conditions.
