“I’m definitely not a film critic, but I was wondering what to choose. It’s a difficult task; I can imagine how difficult it was for critics. I focused on what I was prepared to watch and review. My choice is my films for the soul: “Five Evenings”, “Kalina Krasnaya”, “Oblomov”, “Do Not Shoot the White Swans”, said Bezrukov.
Within the scope of the festival, cinema critics, artists, journalists and producers choose their favorite films in three categories: “A film for the soul”, “A film worthy of worldwide recognition” and “A film that the whole family should watch”. In the category “Film worthy of a global call”, Bezrukov highlighted the projects “Rublev”, “They Fought for the Motherland” and “Unfinished Piece for Mechanical Piano”. He also called the films “An Ordinary Miracle”, “Be Careful with the Car”, “Pokrovsky Gate” and “Scarecrow” the best for watching with the family.
