Camera on Oppenheimer set broke down during sex scene with Pugh and Murphy 07:28

Actors Florence Pugh and Cillian Murphy encountered technical difficulties while filming a sex scene on the Oppenheimer set. The actor talked about this during an interview Universal.

“The camera broke in the middle of our sex scene,” Pugh said, adding: “No one knows about it, but it happened. Our camera broke while we were both naked, and it wasn’t ideal timing.”

Pugh played Jean Tatlock in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. The film character had an affair with Murphy’s protagonist before and during his marriage to Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer, played by Emily Blunt.

Despite this misfortune, the actor still praised Nolan’s entire production team, saying: “Everyone on set was so knowledgeable and so willing to make this kind of movie that there was never a dull moment.”

“They were all amazing. We felt lucky to be there every second of the day,” Pugh reflected.

“Oppenheimer” accepted 13 Oscar nominations, more than any other film. Awards include nominations for Best Picture, Best Actor (Murphy), Best Director (Nolan), Best Supporting Actress (Blunt) and Best Actor (Robert Downey Jr.).

Previously the movie “Oppenheimer” accepted four Golden Globes.
