The death of 81-year-old actress Vera Molchanova was announced by the press service of the Pokrovka Theater on January 27. It was noted that Molchanova worked in her local theater for 33 years.

“The staff of the Pokrovka Theater expresses its condolences to Vera’s family and friends,” the publication said.

According to the press service, the artist was one of the first people invited by the famous theater director Sergei Artsibashev to his group.

Vera Molchanova also starred in the famous TV series “Sleigh”, “Karpov” and “Closed School”.
