The contact model of the monument to the famous classic of Russian literature Nikolai Gogol was printed on a 3D printer and installed in the Moscow museum of the prose writer. The press service reports that state Moscow.
“A tactile model of the writer’s monument has been installed in the Gogol House,” the publication says.
According to the press service, a reduced prototype of the monument was installed in the writer’s museum at 7A Nikitsky Boulevard. The length of the product is 60 cm and the scale is 1:10. Its creation was timed to coincide with the 215th anniversary of the writer’s birth.
“Blind and visually impaired visitors to the Gogol House will be able to see a small copy of the monument,” the message says.
In five Russian cities – Kaluga, Tula, Ryazan, Tambov and Moscow – in October took place festival “Russian classics. One Day Festival” was dedicated to the works of Russian writer Nikolai Gogol.
