Comedian Ruslan Bely (known as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) said in the podcast of the YouTube channel “LAIKA PRO” that there was a very difficult audience on the set of the Comedy Club show.

Bely noted that he was simultaneously working on the program and doing stand-up at that time. According to him, the atmosphere of such performances was completely different.

“Every time you come from the stand-up stage to the comedy room, there is always a great deal of anguish. Because in stand-up, our audience is not visible. We make the environment enjoyable for the comedian. And here you come (at Comedy Club) and there’s this empire style. People are sitting, everyone sees you,” said the artist.

Bely admitted that in some performances it was necessary to add laughter during editing because the audience did not find it funny.

“There were some good performances where there was no need to add laughter. And there were those who, in my opinion, just added to the laughter,” the comedian noted.

Bely noted that in Comedy Club it was necessary to compose “armor-piercing humor” to shake the audience. The comedian admitted that he only had “a few hits” that viewers of the show liked. According to the comedian, only jokes about women received a response. The rest, as Bely said, the audience “didn’t care about.”

Previously The Comedy Club star opened up about where he might move.
