Hollywood star Chris Pratt will star in the new sci-fi thriller directed by Timur Bekmambetov (“Night Watch,” “Ben-Hur”). In this respect reports Deadline.

In the story, a detective is accused of a serious crime and must prove his own innocence. The action of “Mercy” is developing in the near future.

Bekmambetov’s film will be the first of Amazon MGM Studios’ projects to be released in theaters.
Pratt starred opposite Bekmambetov in the producer’s Hollywood debut, Wanted (2008).
