Sergio del Molino won XXVII Alfaguara Award with GermansA novel that begins during the First World War and connects the history of Spain with the mutations of Nazism. Author Sergio Ramírez, who served as jury spokesman, said: “A fascinating novel that tests the conscience of the characters and the reader.”
