Actor Dolph Lundgren, who starred in all episodes of The Expendables, admitted that Sylvester Stallone was working on the script of the fifth episode. The artist stated this Screen Rant.
However, there was no official information about the development of the sequel.
Lundgren also explained why the fourth film failed. According to the actor, Sylvester Stallone did not participate in the creative process as before. Additionally, the director of the film changed a month before shooting started.
Lundgren said, “The project had problems from the very beginning, especially with the script.” said.
