Authorities recommend canceling Arbenina’s concert in Vladivostok

Vladivostok authorities suggested to the organizers that the concert of singer Diana Arbenina, scheduled for February 27, be canceled. This was reported by RIA News.

In the statements made by Primorye Governor Oleg Kozhemyako to the Telegram channel, one of the users asked for the artist’s performance to be canceled. The Vladivostok Municipal Control Center (MCC) told him that the artist “is not officially a foreign agent or a relocatee.” The ICU response also states that the activities of the rock band “Night Snipers”, whose leader is Arbenina, are not prohibited. The creative repertoire complies with the censorship stated in the middle.

“Your citizen position is clear and justified… If the concert is held in open areas (with open access to the audience), the coordination (and therefore cancellation) of concerts is within the competence of state authorities and local authorities… The Department of Culture of the Vladivostok city government recommended the concert organizers to cancel.”

The center also stated that the management is not the organizer of the concert, so it cannot cancel the event, but can only make recommendations.

Before that in Irkutsk took place concert of Diana Arbenina and the rock band “Night Snipers”, despite the protests of activists and numerous cancellations of the artist’s performances in other cities of the country.

It was previously reported that there were concerts by Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). It is cancelled in Thailand.
