The Swedish actor of the TV series “Intergirl” passed away 01/18/2024, 18:16

Swedish actor Thorsten Wahlund passed away at the age of 85. This was reported by Swedish radio station Sveriges Radio.

The death occurred on January 16. The cause of death was not disclosed.

Walund is known to Russian audiences for his role as the Swede Gunwald in Pyotr Todorovsky’s Intergirl. According to the plot of the film, former prostitute Tanya (Elena Yakovleva) marries a Swede and moves to Sweden. Wahlund played the colleague of the main character’s husband who tried to rape a woman.

Thorsten Wahlund was born near Stockholm in 1938. He played more than 90 roles in films such as “Rasmus, Pontus and Toker”, “The Island at the Top of the World”, “Bhound”.
