Starting from the Tibi reservoir, a project combining walking activity with art consumption was born. In this way, they want to turn their landscape tour program into a high-level cultural cycle, taking into account the national and international reflections of both national and local artists.
With the premise of transforming a great walking tradition into an artistic circuit, Eduardo Lastres aims to create an activity different from sun and beach in the province. In this way, all tourism is separated from the coast and moved closer to the interior. The foundation, created by art curator Guillermina Perales, artist Elena Aguilera and Eduardo Lastres, aims to attract visitors from both the province and abroad through creators who reflect the importance of nature in their works. “We want people to realize that nature is necessary and we need to protect it.” For this reason, the parts to be integrated into the Tibi landscape will be projects that are not aggressive to the environment. “Works to be added art paths When someone sees them, it will make them realize that these pieces protect and value the environment. This project, which is progressing and will add sculptural pieces day by day, already includes his first work installed in the Ull de la Font at the end of Paseo de la Santa, starting from the Santa María Magdalena hermitage. “Florentino Díaz is an iconic artist who is part of the national art history. With the intention of expanding the path of studies, sculptures by plastic artist Núria Fuster alcoyand sculptor Josep Ginestar from Gata de Gorgos.
