“Alexander Vasiliev was not the first host of the Fashionable Sentence show. Before that, the program was hosted by fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev and Andrey Bartenev. This proves that, if desired, the TV channel can replace any presenter,” Gorbunov explained.
He explained that the format of the program is interesting because trendy visuals are chosen with which the guests of the show can change their lives for the better. According to Gorbunov, what attracts viewers is not the personality of the presenter, but the format of the program. At the same time, the TV critic expressed the opinion that “Fashionable Sentence” would become even more interesting if the show was presented by several presenters replacing each other. He was also skeptical that stylist Rogov and actor Vernik as hosts could attract the program’s target audience.
“Whatever Alexander Rogov does, he will always be associated with the STS channel. Actor Igor Vernik often missed filming in previous television projects due to his busy schedule. It is still unclear whether he will be able to adapt to the show and how interesting it will be for him,” Gorbunov explained.
