Singer Kirkorov did not pay the authors of his compositions for concerts in the State Kremlin Palace. This was reported to socialbites.ca by the press service of RAO (Association of Russian Writers).
The events took place between April 27 and April 30, 2022. Kirkorov performed for them songs by Brashovean, Bulatkin, Zholtikov, Gutseriev, Malikov, Vinogradov, Aleksin, Zaluzhnaya, Popkov, Dubtsova, Gazmanov, Pauls, Reznik, Terzin, Pappas Andonis, Mateta and Derbenev.
Representatives of RAO stated that they repeatedly made offers to Kirkorov to resolve this situation, held negotiations, but this had no effect. The authors have not been paid any fees yet. In this regard, RAO had to go to court.
RAO filed a lawsuit against the Mutabor club, where the scandalous party of blogger Nastya Ivleva took place. Currently, the Moscow Arbitration Court is considering the claim.
The lawsuit aims to collect Mutabora’s receivables under the contract between June 11 and August 7, 2023. The amount of the claim is 537,034 rubles 10 kopecks. RAO also tried to resolve this case out of court, but the claim, sent to the club on 3 August and received on 22 September, was ignored. On November 28, RAO filed a lawsuit.
In 2023, a petition was filed against the Mutabor club for the collection of receivables within the scope of the contract for the period from December 11, 2022 to May 11, 2023. The amount of the claim was 581,939 rubles 46 kopecks. The defendant did not respond to the petition, but there was an application in the case file for the case to be evaluated according to general litigation procedures. RAO’s claims were fully satisfied on December 4, 2023.
Previously The Moscow Khamovnichesky Court returned the claim to Ivleeva for one billion rubles.
