Rapper Sir-J Sergei Bulavintsev gave a concert in Kaliningrad on the eve of his disappearance on December 28 and was in a good mood. Vladimir, a member of the Seven West Winds group, told socialbites.ca about this. According to him, Bulavintsev did not discuss with his colleagues plans to leave anywhere after returning to Moscow.
“He performed with us in Kaliningrad (as part of the DOB Ensemble – socialbites.ca). Sergei’s behavior was adequate and his mood was good. There was no mention of leaving anywhere. They stayed here for three days, everything was fine. When Sergei came home on December 29, he wrote to a member of our group that he was finally home and had gone to bed. It was 23:45 Moscow time. We hope he is found alive and healthy. “The strange thing is, of course, the fire that broke out in his house in the city of Vidnoye,” said Vladimir.
It is known that the rapper left home on December 30, since then nothing is known about his whereabouts. Now LizaAlert volunteers are looking for Bulavintsev.
“We have an application, it came from relatives. Our search engines have already set out to publish autonomous tasks, referrals. Referrals are also sent on social networks. We are currently looking for witnesses. Our search engines process evidence in the same way as relatives and police. But there was nothing of such importance,” the press service of the LizaAlert search team told socialbites.ca.
According to law enforcement officials, on the night of December 30, Sergei Bulavintsev left Vidnoye by train in an unknown direction and has not yet made contact. He was last seen wearing light gray pants with pockets and a black sweatshirt. Police noted that a fire broke out at the rapper’s house on the night of December 30.
Sir-J has been called a “rap veteran”. He started recording rap in the early 90s. Bulavintsev was a member of the groups Bust AS!, DOB, DOB Community and produced the tracks of Nonamerz, Yu.G. and “Ellipse”. In 2022, Legalize announced the return of the DOB group with Bulavintsev. That same year, the rappers delivered the maxi-single “Infinitely, Tattoo Scars” and also announced a new album “Funk Natives” produced by American beatmaker Tone Beatz. On June 21, 2023, Sir-J released the single “Biococktail”.
