Musician Andrei Makarevich (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) once again talked about Russia in the “Honest Word” project on YouTube.
According to the singer, his group “Time Machine” brought significant income to the country in the old days. Makarevich also recalled how during Soviet times he went on strike and did not speak for several months.
“Without false modesty, I will say that Rosconcert continues our meetings because we generate income like an average-sized Soviet factory. And they themselves received 10-20 rubles for the concert. After ”Bluebird Stew,” we were ”taken off course” and told to work on the show. Then we organized a sit-in protest and did not go on stage for three months,” said the musician.
According to Time Machine’s leader, the music program was still allowed to air and the band continued to tour. Makarevich admitted that he missed the times of the USSR, when he composed new songs together with his colleagues.

At the end of October, it was reported that the artist got rid of his last real estate in Russia. He transferred his mansion to his sister Natalya and his share of housing on Leninsky Prospekt in Moscow to his son Ivan.
