“Maybe I lived to be 90 years old, thanks to the genes I inherited from my family. Or maybe because there are still many ideas that need to be implemented,” Tsereteli said.
He advised living with faith and love for people and work. The artist added that he will celebrate his 90th birthday with his loved ones, but will spend part of the day working in his studio.
According to Tsereteli, he is currently working on several projects: he is continuing a series of images of Russian history, and also plans to create images of his teachers, in particular the painter Vasily Shukhaev.
