Getting to know the two capitals

The cultural and educational routes program “Culture Map 4+85”, initiated by the Russian Ministry of Culture and implemented by the Federal State Budgetary Institution ROSCONCERT, will end on December 15. It was created as an analogue of the “Pushkin Card” for schoolchildren in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The program offers the opportunity to travel, visit unforgettable places and get to know the historical, cultural, scientific and technical heritage of the country.

Every week, starting from August 2, men from new regions arrive in Moscow and St. He went to St. Petersburg.

Program participants were divided into three age groups: 8 to 11 years old, 12 to 14 years old, and 15 to 17 years old, so that they could be more comfortable and engaging with their peers.

In Moscow, schoolchildren first went on a grand sightseeing tour of the city, visiting Red Square and the Alexander Garden. To get acquainted with the historical heritage of Russia, they took us to the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the Museum of the State Center for Contemporary History of Russia and the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” at VDNKh.

During the trips, schoolchildren were provided with quality meals three times a day, transportation, accommodation in capital hotels and, if necessary, medical care. Adults also accompanied the trips.

At least 10 thousand children from new regions are expected to participate in the program next year.
