Central Partnership film company has announced a new preview date for the acclaimed film “Cheburashka”. This was “reported by”Russian newspaper”
The creators stated that the tape was planned to be released in December 2025, before that it was planned to be released only in January 2026. It is known that the first film crew, led by director Dmitry Dyachenko, will work on the second part.
The film “Cheburashka” was released in Russian cinemas on January 1 and became the highest-grossing film in the history of domestic distribution. The film collected 3.082 billion rubles at the box office, surpassing the previous record holder in box office revenues, Klim Shipenko’s 2019 film “Slave”.
Aimed at audiences over the age of six, the family comedy tells the story of Cheburashka’s adventures in a small seaside town. He comes there from a distant orange country.
The main roles in the film were played by Sergei Garmash, Elena Yakovleva, Polina Maksimova, Fedor Dobronravov and Sergei Lavygin. Cheburashka herself was voiced by actress Olga Kuzmina.
