Journalist and TV presenter Mikhail Kozhukhov admitted in the program RTVI “Legend” that he stopped hosting the travel show due to the need to constantly humiliate himself.
“For the nine years I worked in television production, I had to humiliate myself every day. And some reserve of humiliation has been exhausted. I said: “Well, gentlemen, if you don’t want it, what can I do? “I am not Danko who will tear out a heart and light the way to a bright future,” Kozhukhov raged.
He explained that at one point he got bored of “hanging around in offices” and began to engage in other activities. The host of the popular programs “In Search of Adventure” and “Around the World” began writing books and organized his own “Mikhail Kozhukhov Travel Club” and tours of other writers to foreign countries. Despite his vast experience in this matter, Kozhukhov assured that he was not considering emigrating from Russia.
“Everything I can do is somehow connected to the Russian language, and right now I can’t imagine myself, I… Well, kind of… What am I going to do?” – Kozhukhov noted.
