Antidote Tour starts next year, which Samantha will we meet?

We’re starting to seriously consider this. What I want above all else is to enjoy myself, to be with my musicians, for everything to be lively and organic. To be able to sing all possible songs. My goal is for people to enjoy it as much as we do, with surprises from time to time.

What are your expectations from the public going on the tour?

Let them get excited. I want them to use this one and a half to two hours to forget about their problems and leave wanting to repeat first and foremost.

You start from Madrid, pass through Barcelona and arrive in the city of Valencia. Is the city of Valencia your final touch?

Yes, I think this will be the most anticipated one too. It will also be a place for more friends and family to attend. And of course the most surprising one; There will be a lot of people and a lot of musicians who will come to sing.

What changed from your time in Cactus to your second album ‘Antidoto’?

Four years have passed, in fact only four years ago we were in the last cast of Operación Triunfo. First of all, I will be thirty years old and I was twenty-five at that time. This means that over time he has matured relentlessly, both personally and musically.

You are currently participating in Duos Increíbles with David Summers, what can you tell us?

We are semi-finalists this week, you can see us every Tuesday on RTVE. In fact, last week David and I announced that I would be featured on Hombres G’s 40-year compilation album and would be collaborating with all of them.

So how was your time in the competition?

The truth is, it’s very pleasing. We learned a lot, we practiced all summer, we rehearsed, we went here and there, up and down. Artists such as Paloma San Basilio, Teo Bok, Coti accompanied us. It’s also very exciting, but ultimately it’s still a competition and there’s a part of going through hard times because there’s a lot of suffering, but it’s a very good feeling.

Do you think competitions are for you?

I would say yes, but I’m not sure about that either. This is my job because I like it and I enjoy it. In short, television, screen and camera make me very comfortable.

It is a very interesting format with great enthusiasm. I hope it works, I’m sure it works, I have no doubt.

Are you missing the Valencia victory in this edition?

This is what I see, there is no Valencian. Nothing, nothing will happen if this happens next year. In reality there have always been few. Moreover, in these last editions there were almost no Valencians who could speak the Valencian language.

What advice would you give to new winners?

Honestly, enjoy it because it goes by so quickly. In reality, the OT is a parenthesis within a parenthesis that then goes up in smoke. They will miss it at first, but then it will pass because they have a long way to go.

There is ‘Triunfitas con traumatas’ in your role as podcaster, how did this come about?

At the academy, Maialen and I were already talking about doing a podcast together. Then when we went out we talked about it and said “let’s get serious”. It’s said and done; We contacted the people we needed to talk to and got the situation out. The truth is that we are quite happy because people really love it and it works quite well: we couldn’t ask for more.

What awaits you as you look towards the end of the year?

In December I will release the new single, which we will present at the New Year’s gala on Spanish television. Of course, there is also ‘The Incredible Duo’, the concerts in January, February and March and the podcast. I have some projects in mind, but nothing concrete. One of the things I’m sure of is that we’ll have more things going on in the summer months, we’ll visit the festivals that come up and see what happens.
