The movie “Hero Cops”, adapted from Bulat Okudzhava’s story “The Front is Coming to Us”, will be shot in Russia. This was reported by TASS.
“I am ready to start shooting soon. The project is almost completely ready, including the script, locations, actors and crew. This is a full-length feature film, adventure and historical. 90 minutes of timing,” the director admitted at the presentation of the project.
The cast included Daniil Spivakovsky (“My Stepbrother Frankenstein”) and Khristina Blokhina (“Inadequate People 2”). The manager of the project was Ivan Orlov. Spivakovsky will play the father of one of the main characters in the project.
The plot will tell about a city that has not yet been touched by the Great Patriotic War. Events will take place near Kursk in August 1941.
“The front is there somewhere, the war is somewhere there, it is still far away. But the two main characters, namely two 10-year-old boys, dream of going to the front,” said Orlov.
The project based on Okudzhava’s story was presented at the Chitka 2.0 Film Adaptation Festival.
