Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki will undertake a new project after the release of his new cartoon ‘The Boy and the Bird’. In this respect reports IndieWire quotes Studio Ghibli President Toshio Suzuki.
According to Suzuki, the audience success of The Boy and the Bird gave Miyazaki the strength to work on new stories.
“Miyazaki needs to clear his mind. Turning into a blank canvas, Hayao begins to produce new ideas. You just have to wait a little bit,” Suzuki explained.
“The Boy and the Bird” will be released in Russian cinemas on December 7.
Suzuki that Miyazaki is considering a new project said In October 2023.
“The only thing in his life that fascinates him is work. He started talking about a new project and I’m not stopping him anymore. As long as he works, I won’t have a pension. He is 82 years old, I think he will continue until he is 90. I’ll go with him,” Suzuki said.
