The lead singer of the Na-Na band was accused of insulting the memory of Mikhail Krug (1962-2002) after a concert in Novosibirsk. The guest of the concert filed a complaint with the publication ngs.ru about the performance in memory of Chansonnier Pavel Shugurov.
According to Shugurov, the first to perform were the son of Mikhail Krug and the group “Poputchik” with songs by chansonniers, who performed for an hour and received applause accordingly.
“Then the first soloist of the Na-Na group appeared. She was clearly drunk and said that she was the organizer of the concert and that she would sing songs from her band. After the first song, almost 20 people came out immediately. During the performance, the artist forgot the words, his gait was unsteady,” says Shugurov, without naming the singer.
He explained that the audience cursed and felt cheated.
“After that, the former soloist of the Freestyle group, Sergei Dubrovin, came out and also began to sing the repertoire of his group – again, clearly not chanson. People began to leave the hall even faster. “Sergei Dubrovin did not respond to the screams of the audience, he just sang louder, paying no attention to the anger of the people in the hall,” said one of the concert visitors, adding that a third of the audience remained in the hall at that time.
According to Shugurov, it was not possible to honor the memory of Mikhail Krug with a concert.
“They wiped their feet on him, disgraced him and took advantage of his fame,” he is sure.
Organizers have so far not commented on audience complaints.
