The Moscow Pages of the Petrine Era exhibition is launched on the website of the virtual museum “Moscow — With a Care for History”. This has been reported TASS.
The event was timed to coincide with the 350th anniversary of Peter I’s birth. “The exhibition can be viewed on the website of the virtual museum “Moscow – with attention to history” in the 1950-2000 hall, in the Media Library – Exhibitions section,” he said.
As part of the exhibition, visitors will see materials from the Moscow archives related to the emperor. The exhibition consists of three parts in total. The first will describe the reign of Peter the Great and touch upon the main points of his reign. The latter is connected with the historical monuments of Moscow dedicated to Peter.
“The final third chapter “Peter the Great in the literary works of AS Pushkin and the artistic work of PL Bunin” will clearly show that Emperor Peter I and the personality of his era attracted historians, philosophers and writers, artists and sculptors for centuries. ”, – explained at the management of the museum.
