In the car on my way back from work, I learned through a cultural radio program that Marina Perezagua’s Six Ways to Die in Texas (Anaprama, 2019) had been released. And I liked it. And the thing for me is that, as I have stated on other occasions, and unlike almost everyone else, I am attracted to the advertising of what interests me. I also liked the title and presentation of the novel: the journey of a heart, the always terrible theme of organ trafficking, the mixing of cultures, in this case China and America, acts of love, always very literary. and romantic, and those about revenge are even more romantic. Come on, there are many interesting aspects! Everything is arranged so that you don’t get bored while reading it. Additionally, the radio host stated that the author writes in an in-depth and multicultural literary style. So, as in many similar situations, I told myself I had to pick it up and read it.
