Former member of the Quartet I, Mikhail Kozyrev (known in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent), said that the group was forced to refuse to participate in joint performances with the song “Accident” by Alexei Kortnev. Kozyrev published the relevant post on the social network Facebook (its owner, Meta, is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia).
“Yesterday Kortnev told me how he disappeared from the play ‘Accident’. A criminal complaint was filed against them. Quadruple I was given an ultimatum: Either remove these “enemies of the people” from the performances, or we will close your theater. Now on Radio Day, musical pieces are performed by the group Bobry and Pavel Maikov. (Thank you for not being Pevtsov!),” said the artist.
Kozyrev left Russia after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine.
Before that, the soloist of the group “Accident” Alexey Kortnev stood up For Alla Pugacheva.
According to Kortnev, the artist always boldly expressed his civic position. The musician also condemned those who engaged in the public “cancellation” of the star.
Previously Ministry of Justice contributed to the list of foreign agents of journalist Mikhail Kozyrev and the publication “7×7”.
