Valery Pereverzev, director of the movie “Brother 3”, denied the assumption that his film was prohibited from issuing a distribution certificate. This was reported by RIA News.

According to him, it may be decided to issue a distribution certificate on November 20, and then the premiere in Tambov will not be canceled. Pereverzev added that the film is technically ready and has been accepted by the State Film Fund. He also explained that his friends in charge of issuing rental documents at the Ministry of Culture convinced him to change his name.
“On an everyday level, there is a conversation like why do you need such a name, change the name. To this I say that I did not violate the laws of the Russian Federation by calling the film “Brother 3″… Accordingly, the question about the name is only at the everyday level,” explained Pereverzev.
