Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson said on Jimmy Fallon’s show that his next movie will be an adaptation of the animated movie “Moana.”

Johnson stated that making the film would allow him to pay tribute to the heritage and culture of his people.

The production timeline and plot details of the feature-length remake of Moana are unknown. The new film will be produced by Seven Bucks Productions’ Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia, as well as Flynn Picture Co.’s Beau Flynn.
