The Beatles’ co-founder musician appears on the new episode of his podcast McCartney: A Life in Lyrics said He described experiences of his bandmate John Lennon (1940-1980) that surprised him.

The musician revealed that he often had to calm Lennon down.
“It was as if I were his priest. I often had to say: “Son, you are great, don’t worry,” and he was pleased. He was getting better,” McCartney admitted.
