Writer and socialite Lena Lenina admitted that she almost fell for the trick of a fraudster who tried to sell her an ancient statuette allegedly belonging to Moreau. His words were quoted kp.ru.

“Abdula, the handsome young salesman, claimed that the masterpiece was real, but he urgently needed money,” the woman said.

Lenina stated that she liked the statuette depicting a winged marble angel. The author also did not believe that an original product could be sold incredibly cheaply. He asked the owner of another boutique to take a quick look at the figurine – he assured the author that it was a fake.

Lenina then asked for the bank number of the owner of an antique store that allegedly sold antique figurines at a low price. She stated that she asked her husband to transfer money for the figurine.

“So I took a photo of the card and left the boutique for a minute and called the bank to “talk to my husband.” The author stated that he found a card with this number and that it should be blocked.

Lenina believes that this is how she “takes revenge on the scoundrel.”
